UKV staff raises £1000 for Comic Relief

UKV staff donated possessions for their own Red Nose Day Auction on Friday 13th. This certainly proved a lucky day after all and staff raised a considerable sum which they persuaded an easily influenced management to round up to £1000. Well done UKV!

Darfur - Sudan - £5000 donated

Following the precise yet emotional appeal of the actress and UNICEF Ambassador Mia Farrow on BBC television on Sunday 2nd December, 2007 on behalf of the people caught up in the tragedy of Darfur a donation of £5000 was made today in the name of UK Vending Ltd and each individual member of its staff to the Red Cross Appeal for the People of Darfur.
