Welcome to the UK Vending Corporate Social Responsibility website

Perhaps you have been motivated to visit our site because you too are committed to finding and dealing only with suppliers that satisfy your conscientious requirements of fair-trade and sustainability. Perhaps you prefer to do business only with organisations that have publicly committed to reduce their carbon footprint in ways more meaningful than merely planting trees to cancel out the harm they are doing. If you have come to us for those or similar reasons then be aware that we will surprise you and surpass your expectations because not only do we qualify on all counts but we exceed them significantly.

For forty years we have been an ethical business and an ethical employer. We were so before it was fashionable and in the days when our bankers told us we were not businesslike because we wore our hearts on our sleeves by caring about those involved in our business and our customers. We not only support fair-trade schemes and similar but we actually aim some of our profits towards supporting and sustaining families and children in the third-world who can only dream of working anywhere including on a farm of any kind even one that is not fair-trade. There are a lot of people in this world whose opportunities do not even qualify to use the word 'opportunity' to describe them. Oscar Wilde quipped from Reading Gaol that "we may all be in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars". For some of the people that we support and sustain, the gutter once seemed a very long way up.

When you support us, you support them. We will value your custom if given to us and sustain our retionship with you by way of providing a quality service. Take a few moments to read these pages and perhaps you will comment in our guestbook on our 'Contact us' page.

We have been in business almost 40 years and in this time we have supported countless charities and individuals and we have been in the forefront of ethical business behaviour providing fair terms for our staff and our customers. This year we are doing more than ever to offer our support where it is most needed and we are doing this whilst taking every measure possible to reduce our carbon footprint and the imprint of our products and services on the environment.

We hope you will enjoy these pages and the information they provide. Please visit us frequently to update yourself on how well we and the children we support are doing - real children leading happier and safer lives because we try to help. We continue to be amazed at how such a little cost to us means such a great deal to others. This has always been our business policy - little costs and great deals - and now it extends to the help we give to others.

Minda was left alone in the world at the tender age of four. She had the clothes she wore and her dolly. She was alone for a week before we found her. Today she still has dolly whom she calls 'Bala' (baby) and a home and love and her extended family at UKV.

Understandably, customers ask about the sustainable products we provide. The most sustainable product we have is care. This is provided at every level throughout our company and each and every staff member is committed to what we do. We and our staff adopted the care and well-being of a small group of children and in some cases, their families, in southern Africa. For nearly nine years we have added each and every year to the numbers we look after. We are proud of what we do and if you think that business has no heart, please read through this website and come again frequently.
